You know how people say a smile can be contagious? Like when a person’s smile is so great that you just can’t help but smile too?
Well, we believe that love is the same way. When you see two people so in love that you just can’t help but feel super excited and happy for them. You get butterflies for them because you can just tell that they would do anything for one another. It’s the kind of love that is stronger than anything. And Melissa and Fouad’s love for each other is just like that.
They have that contagious type of love.
And a love like that is something to never let go of. Because when you’ve got it, you’ve got something some people spend their entire life trying to find. And you never know how you’re going to find it. Although Melissa and Fouad met in Buffalo, NY, he’s originally from Lebanon. And it’s crazy to think that they were originally over 6,000 miles apart and all it took was one move to find the person they’d end up calling their best friend and fiancé.
And then back in December, as they were in Buffalo with Melissa’s family for their annual Christmas gathering with friends and family, Fouad was planning to ask the question. He convinced Melissa to exchange presents earlier than they planned, and told her to look for her present outside. Melissa walked over by a heart-shaped wreath trying to find her gift, when all of a sudden the Christmas lights in her backyard turned on and music started to play. Family members were peaking through the windows to get a glimpse of the big moment.
And there he was. On one knee. Saying, “will you do me the honor of being my wife?”
Ten words that make such an impact.
And of course, she said yes!
Melissa and Fouad, we absolutely loved your engagement session. Getting to know you two was like getting to know old friends! We’re so excited for you two to get married in your hometown at such a beautiful venue. Cheers to your incredible future! Oh, and PS: we’ll all have to get Korean BBQ together one day!
