MATLOCK and KELLY

As a husband-and-wife team, we bring a rare fusion of editorial sophistication and intuitive storytelling to wedding photography. Matlock’s background in fashion campaigns and magazine editorials shapes our refined, artful approach—composing imagery with an elevated eye and timeless edge. Kelly grew up in a home where her father, previously a wedding photographer, made documenting life’s moments second nature. That early influence now informs her ability to anticipate and preserve both the grand and intimate with equal care. Together, we capture weddings with the precision of artists and the perspective of those who deeply value the emotional weight of a well-lived day—producing imagery that feels effortless, personal, and enduringly iconic.

While we are based in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, we travel often for weddings along the East Coast.

Our POV

The laughter between grandma and granddaughter. Witnessing a father stare at his beautiful daughter, wondering how time slipped by so fast. The tears shed by friends and family during a ceremony. We see it all. We capture these memories, both grand and intimate, and do something so few can do – immortalize a moment in time.

Our Why

Why does anyone take a photo? To attempt making a record of who we were or how we lived. We're afraid time will move on and we'll lose the memory of the moment – so, we capture it; giving us the ability to look back and remember every sense we felt at that very moment. As photographers, we're preservationists by nature. We take pictures to stop time, to immortalize the moments of one of the best days of your life.

Our Method

We’ve mastered the dance of knowing when to step in with gentle and clear direction, and when to fade into the background, so moments can unfold as they were meant to. We believe people look their absolute best when they are fully present – so, creating an environment and experience that is calming and stress-free is second nature to us.
