It was 20 years ago when they first met.
But, life had other plans and they didn’t see each other for several years… until 5 years ago.
And when they met again 15 years later? They knew this was meant to be.
At their wedding at Sunken Gardens, we heard over and over how amazing these two were together. That they were a perfect match. And we couldn’t agree more. These two care so deeply about one another… and everyone can see it! Its stories like this that make you believe that everything really does happen for a reason.
And the amount of love and support we witnessed that day was unlike any other. And even though wedding planning can be a little stressful, Danielle and Wendell show us that while yes, having a beautiful wedding is important, but that what matters even more is having a beautiful marriage and celebrating your love with the people who support you the most.
Every guest was hand selected and was there for a reason; each person had an impact on their lives and relationship. And I think that’s amazing. I don’t know about every other bride out there, but I think us brides kind of get sucked into a black hole when it comes to planning our wedding, and the guest list is sometimes the deepest hole – should you invite your old friends from college? What about your mom’s friends your mom keeps asking you to invite? And what about family members you haven’t seen or talked to in 10 years? What I learned from Danielle and Wendell’s wedding is that what’s important is to be surrounded by those you love and who love and support you with all their heart. Because when it comes to celebrating one of the biggest moments of your life, what’s better than having your favorite people there to witness it all? It’s truly magical.
Danielle and Wendell, you two are truly amazing. You put others first and you truly have some amazing friends and family that love you dearly! We felt as though we had been friends with you guys for years, even though we had only met once before this! We had SO much fun with you two at your Sunken Gardens wedding and we wish you a life full of happiness and adventures filled with people who support you every step of the way. Thank you for allowing us to capture these moments for you!
