Sunset Engagement Session | Safety Harbor, Florida

When we met up with Sarah and Jordan for the first time at their consultation, they told us not to be surprised if it rains on their wedding day.

Matlock and I looked at each other with curiosity as they explained how it practically rains everywhere they go… on vacations and even on their way back from Colorado (where Jordan proposed) when flights were cancelled due to the snow!

We thought these were all just funny coincidences, especially since it was supposed to be partly sunny with no chance of rain during their engagement session. But, lo and behold, half way through their session we started seeing large rain clouds 😂 And yes, it did drizzle slightly towards the end of their session, but honestly, I absolutely love that this happened.

Because it is a part of their relationship. A part of their story. And we got to capture it.

As for the rest of their time with us? It was pretty much perfect! These two seriously know how to dress! But more importantly than that, these two are such a great match for one another. They’re both nurses, saving lives and welcoming new lives into the world – that’s something that is so special and honestly, heroic.

It’s a passion that they share and it’s one way that will make their marriage strong and set them up for greatness.

These two truly balance each other out perfectly and we can’t wait to see how their legacy unfolds!

Sarah and Jordan, it was so great seeing you guys again and getting to hang out while we capture this season of your life! We had so much fun with you guys – and I know Matlock loved being able to talk about cars with Jordan 😂 We’re pretty excited to see you guys in matching holiday PJs of your cat too! We are so excited for your wedding day and can’t wait until the day is finally here!
