Let’s talk about silver linings.

Because we’re a big believer that every unfortunate moment has a silver lining to it.

And Caitlyn and Steven’s Isla Del Sol wedding is the definition of silver linings because their original wedding date was back in May, but had to be postponed due to Covid.

Caitlyn and I (Kelly) were on this Covid bride journey together because Matlock and I were supposed to get married in April, but we also had to postpone our wedding to later this year.

And it was so special to be able to relate and navigate this crazy circumstance with one of our brides! That was silver lining number one – for me, anyway haha.

But when Matlock and I arrived at Isla Del Sol for their intimate wedding, I realized that this was the second silver lining. They not only get to have a beautiful wedding at the venue they originally wanted, and not only did Steven get to finally play a round of golf at Isla Del Sol’s amazing golf course, but they get to have two weddings!

Not many people get to say they had two weddings with the same person hehe 😉

All silliness aside, everything about their sunset ceremony was perfection.

From the beautiful details to saying their own vows to having beautiful portraits (you don’t want to miss seeing them below, trust me!) – I’d say it was a big success!

And as we witnessed Caitlyn and Steven officially getting married, we also witnessed the love they have for each other, and how much love and support they received from their friends and family.

They have such an amazing support system and we just know that these two have a very bright and successful future ahead of them.

And what makes a marriage successful?

Well, I think it’s many things, but I know for a fact that these two have it; you can just tell when you’re around them.

And we can’t wait to see where life brings them as husband and wife!

Caitlyn and Steven, we absolutely loved being apart of your big day! Riding around the course in golf carts with you will be a highlight of our year! You guys really are like friends to us and we are so happy that you two could finally get married! We seriously can’t wait for round two next year at Margaritaville – it’ll be here before you know it! Until then, we’ll stay in touch and we’ll be eagerly waiting to see you guys again!
