The very first moment we met Lauren and Chris we knew their engagement session would be amazing!

Not only because their outfits were perfect (we received many DMs on Instagram about how gorgeous Lauren’s dress is and I totally agree!) but these two are so warm, welcoming and a blast to be around – characteristics that every Reeves Couple has!

Lauren and Chris wanted their session to feel like a date night – they simply wanted to adventure around Downtown Tampa and take photos at pretty locations. And I think it’s safe to say we definitely accomplished that! From Le Meridien to the crosswalks of Downtown Tampa to an outside bar to Curtis Hixon Park to the Tampa Theater… we did it all!

But more importantly, we had the opportunity to get to know Lauren and Chris and learn more about their relationship.

And it didn’t take long before it was obvious that these two were made for each other.

Many times we get asked why we love photographing engagement sessions and it’s honestly because we get to meet people like Lauren and Chris, learn all about their love story, discover how we can best serve them, all while exploring new locations and taking photos to document this special time in their lives.

There’s something so special about it and we really think it’s all because of the people in front of our cameras. They’re the ones who light us up, so the least we can do is freeze these moments in time so they can always be relived and remembered.

Lauren and Chris, we had such a fun time with you two for your engagement session! We are so glad we were able to explore the city with you, get to know you better and capture these photos for you! Your wedding is going to be so beautiful and we’re so excited for you to get married!!
