I remember the day Matlock and I met Sarah and Jordan for the first time at a local Starbucks.

Right off the bat we just loved these two. We loved their story, their personalities and everything they were dreaming up for their wedding day!

I remember Sarah and Jordan telling us about their proposal. And it’s always so interesting hearing how a proposal unravels.

It usually goes something like the guy being really nervous (totally normal!) and the girl feeling kind of confused… because something just seems off but they can’t put their finger on it.

And for Sarah, the fact that Jordan wasn’t interested in his pancakes was a big sign that something was up.

But then she noticed he kept saying they had to get to their hiking spot at a specific time. I mean, if you’re on vacation why would it matter what time you hiked? Well, when you’re planning an epic proposal in Colorado overlooking a gorgeous lake, it most definitely matters! 😉

When they finally got to their hiking spot, Sarah saw how gorgeous the location was. She snapped a photo and texted her friend, “something’s happening!”

Jordan “noticed” a professional photographer and asked him to take a few photos of them on their iPhone. And when the photographer asked if they needed anything else (the cue word!) Jordan knelt on one knee and popped the question!

And through all the nervous giggles, Sarah said yes!

It’s stories like this that make our hearts so full.

Because it’s the story that marks the beginning of a new season; a season full of adventure with your best friend by your side.

And now the day has come where Sarah and Jordan officially tied the knot and we are incredibly happy that we could be apart of it and capture it all.

Everything about this day was beautiful. From Sarah’s dress, to Jordan’s suit and tie, and to the florals. But even more beautiful than all of that was the love and support these two have from their family and friends.

Sarah and Jordan, we are SO happy for you!! We have loved getting to know you two and being by your side as you become husband and wife. We’re glad that the weather held off and the sun actually peaked through the clouds a bit for you guys! See – the weather isn’t always crazy for you two 😉 Have a blast in Colorado on your honeymoon and we can’t wait for round 2 next year!
