We are thrilled to share some highlights from Nikki and Doug’s private lakeside estate wedding!
Nikki and Doug met in San Francisco, and as they talked things immediately clicked. Doug lived about an hour and a half from San Francisco, but drove up every weekend to see Nikki… five months later, Doug was flying out to Florida to meet Nikki’s family. And while they were on a family vacation in the Bahamas, Doug asked Nikki’s father for his permission to marry his daughter. With his approval, Doug proposed to Nikki at the Golden Gate Bridge 💕
While their wedding was intimate, the surprises they planned for their guests were grand. With Doug arriving to the ceremony via seaplane and a fireworks grand finale – we’d say that their wedding was as big as their love for each other (Cheesy? Yes, but still true!)
As we were capturing moments when speeches were given, we couldn’t help but smile and laugh along as we got to learn more about Nikki and Doug’s relationship. To be in love with your best friend is something really special, and to capture it is a beautiful thing.
We are so happy for Nikki and Doug, and we can’t wait to see what their future holds!
