Bailey and Peter’s Swan House wedding was one we’ll all remember! We’re grateful for the trust Bailey and Peter put into us to capture their day, shown below.
When Bailey and Peter started planning their wedding, they chose a beautiful venue in Griffin, Georgia. However, fate had other plans. Just months before the big day, a tornado left their venue severely damaged. Devastated but determined, they decided to see if, by any chance, the Swan House was available as it was their first choice back when they were touring venues. Everything came full circle when the Swan House was in fact available!
If you’ve never been to the Swan House, it truly is a stunning mansion in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. With its old-world architecture and stunning gardens, the mansion has become a favorite location for weddings and other grand events. Bailey envisioned a Spring garden and the Swan House brought her vision to life.
On the day of the wedding, the weather couldn’t have been better. Overcast skies for the majority of the day allowed us to photograph the ceremony beautifully, as well as capture photos in locations that would have been too bright with full sun. The grandeur of the Swan House wowed guests as they walked down the steps to take their seat at the ceremony. Dressed to the nines, Bailey and Peter looked better than ever against the mansion’s timeless beauty.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the Carlyle for dinner and dancing. The reception was decorated with beautiful, colorful floral arrangements and table lamps to set a warm and inviting atmosphere. Guests enjoyed delicious food and danced the night away to the band.
Bailey and Peter’s wedding at the Swan House was everything they had ever dreamed of and more. Even though it wasn’t their original plan, the mansion turned out to be the perfect venue for their special day. The stunning beauty of the Swan House combined with the fashionable attire of the wedding party and guests created a truly unforgettable atmosphere.
As the night came to an end, guests gave Bailey and Peter a sparkler send off and left with memories that they would cherish for a lifetime.
