It was a perfect day in Palm Beach, Florida as Camille and Joey celebrated their wedding at Sailfish Club of Florida.
One of the unique aspects of capturing Camille and Joey’s wedding was their refreshing approach to wedding photography. They entrusted us to document their wedding day organically, with a focus on candid moments that reflected real moments throughout the day. This allowed them to fully be present, not worry about our cameras, and enjoy every single moment. The result? Beautiful, unique photographs filled with joy!
Sailfish Club of Florida, with its picturesque waterfront setting, provided the perfect backdrop for the entire day. From their intimate ceremony to the lively reception, every moment was infused with a sense of joy that radiated from the couple and their guests.
A standout feature of the day was the stunning floral arrangements, courtesy of the bride’s talented aunt, who owns Hive Floral Studio. The bouquets, centerpieces, and arrangements seamlessly complemented the venue and enhanced the celebration.
As the day unfolded, it became clear that Camille and Joey’s wedding was a true reflection of their personalities. The couple’s happiness created an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie. It was evident that they were surrounded by a community of family and friends who cherished their relationship and were genuinely thrilled to witness their union.
With the absence of photo requests and shot lists, we were given freedom to focus on capturing the genuine emotions and spontaneous moments that made the day so special. These are some of my favorite photos we’ve taken because every photograph tells a part of the story of the day and is what makes a photograph worth a million words. I know a lot of couples want photographs like these – fun, unique, laid back, full of personality. The key to achieving this in your own photos is to limit your photo requests/shot lists, be present, and let loose! Let your personality shine and have your photographer be a fly on the wall. Of course, I’m not saying to not tell your photographer of something you really want photographed – I still think a shot list has importance – but, if you give your photographer a detailed shot list where they’re checking each item off, they’re not going to be able to creatively capture your day candidly. Just some food for thought 😉
As Camille and Joey’s wedding day came to a close, we couldn’t help but feel privileged to be part of such a wonderful celebration of two beautiful souls in the heart of Palm Beach.
