A Forbes Farm Wedding in St. Simons Island, Georgia

Kayla and Chris had a beautiful wedding nestled in the picturesque landscape of St. Simons Island, Georgia at Forbes Farm and we’re excited to share a highlight of their day!

While we love a classic color palette with light and airy tones, we fell in love with the fall foliage and coloring of Kayla and Chris’s florals and reception design. It was the perfect choice for their early November wedding and went perfectly with the aesthetic of the venue and environment!

Thinking back at our first conversation with Kayla and Chris during their phone consultation, they mentioned that their dog was a big part of their life and asked if we felt comfortable capturing photos of her at the wedding. Without hesitation we said, “absolutely!!” See, whenever couples ask us a question like this, we tell them about how we had our cat, Finn, at our own wedding and engagement session – so, we have no problem at all capturing our clients’ fur babies. In fact, we highly recommend including them if you think they’d enjoy being a part of your day!

As we headed into the night, the reception area was filled with a candlelight glow – the perfect setting for hearing toasts from loved ones and enjoying conversations with guests. As the night unfolded, guests caught up with each other, recorded voicemail messages on their audio guestbook (fun fact: we left a voice message, too!), and the dance floor came alive with the infectious energy of friends and family celebrating Kayla and Chris!
