Captiva Island Engagement Session | Kyley and Will | Captiva, Florida

When Kyley and Will told us about their vision to have their wedding at a small chapel on Captiva Island, it only made sense to have their engagement session on the island as well.

Coming from Washington D.C., Captiva was a warm getaway for Kyley and Will, and Kyley reminded me how amazing the beach is with her genuine excitement for the sand and water! As Floridians, we get used to being so close to the beaches, so it was a great reminder to take a moment and appreciate what Florida has to offer.

During our time together, we got to learn a bit more about them both and talked all about their upcoming wedding plans while we walked along Captiva Chapel by the Sea. We quickly learned that these two are naturals in front of the camera! We gave them direction, but their comfortability with each other and just being themselves in front of the camera allowed us to capture their personalities and some fun moments – like wiggling toes in the sand!

We’re thrilled to finally share this highlight of their engagement session on the blog and we can’t wait to see these two again for their wedding in March!

Kyley and Will,

We had so much fun meeting you two and taking these photos for your engagement session! We love you guys and we can’t wait to get you two married so soon! See you in March!

With Love,
Matlock and Kelly
