Molly and Alex’s wedding day unfolded in the heart of Fairhope, Alabama—a celebration filled with color, gathering, and the most effortless Southern charm. Their palette of soft yellows and layered green tones set the tone for a warm, joyful day, and their reception brought that vision to life with monochromatic yellow details, which coincidentally goes with Minted and Brides’ 2026 color of the year, Island Citrus, beautifully.
Choosing to celebrate in Fairhope felt especially meaningful for Molly and Alex. Alex owns a well-loved café in town, so this community has been an anchor in their story from the beginning. Hosting their wedding at a nearby Fairhope venue allowed them to weave that sense of place and belonging into the day—surrounded by familiar faces, local charm, and the coastal landscape they love.
For portraits, we wandered down to the water, using the quiet beauty of the Gulf Coast and the dock as a natural canvas. The breeze was gentle, the light was perfect, and in one of those serendipitous moments you can’t plan for, a butterfly appeared and fluttered around. Later, during toasts, guests erupted into cheers, filling the courtyard with laughter and love.
Every moment from Molly and Alex’s day felt like a reflection of who they are: warm, grounded, deeply loved, and surrounded by the people and places that mean the most. It was a Fairhope celebration through and through—vibrant, heartfelt, and unforgettable.
