Sydney and Ryan’s wedding at The Ritz-Carlton Sarasota came with an unexpected twist.
What was originally meant to be their Plan A shifted dramatically due to a hurricane—but in true Sydney and Ryan fashion, they embraced the change with grace and joy, transforming Plan B into a celebration their guests will never forget.
From the moment guests arrived, they were welcomed with a warm South Florida breeze, panoramic waterfront views, and the signature hospitality of the Ritz-Carlton staff. The atmosphere was relaxed, joyful, and effortlessly elegant—just like Sydney and Ryan.
The ceremony took place outdoors with a soft coastal breeze weaving through the air, creating a romantic and serene backdrop as they exchanged vows. The joy was palpable, with laughter and happy tears.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails overlooking the water as the sun began to set—a golden hour that felt like it arrived just for them.
As the reception began, guests entered a beautifully transformed space. The room was anchored by sleek black and silver chairs—an unexpected yet elevated design choice that gave the celebration a modern, polished feel. Candlelight flickered across the tables, and lush florals softened the clean lines, creating a balance of romance and sophistication.
Dinner was followed by toasts that had the perfect mix of heartfelt and hilarious, and then—what can only be described as a high-energy dance party. The dance floor stayed packed all night, with everyone from grandparents to college friends celebrating shoulder to shoulder.
